Alpha Card has continued to expand its global operation with the appointment of two new team members.

Tom Whitfield re-joined the UK Team as Alpha Card’s Finance Director, following 4 years’ of experience at a leading healthcare technology business, having previously worked at Alpha Card from its inception in 2013, alongside Kate Shropshall who joins the business as Marketing Manager, having held a similar position for US company QST Industries.

Both appointments finish a successful year of growth and expansion for the innovative direct marketing manufacturer, where 2018 saw the acquisition of French distributor, Media de Poche and German print specialist, Card Media; together with the launch of Alpha Card Compact Media LLC, its US division positioned in North America.

Both Tom and Kate will be key to the firm’s continued growth into 2019, with turnover forecast to increase by 30% over the next 12 months alone, fulfilling the firm’s mission to become a leading manufacturer of Z-folding cards, infinity cards and other direct marketing materials worldwide.

Ian Whitfield, Managing Director of Alpha Card, commented: “Both Tom and Kate boast a wealth of experience in the finance and marketing sectors respectively, and will, therefore, be instrumental in supporting and driving our continued growth strategy across the UK and Overseas.”

“2019 is set to be another exciting year for Alpha Card and I am delighted to welcome Tom and Kate to the team.”

New Finance Director, Tom Whitfield, added: “In just 5 years Alpha Card has grown from a start-up into the UK’s leading manufacturer of Z-Folding Cards and other direct marketing materials. Both Kate and I are extremely excited to be joining the business as it continues its expansion and are now working hard on implementing and driving an equally successful growth strategy for 2019.”

With its Head Quarters in Guiseley, Leeds, Alpha Card produces over 10 million Z-folding cards per year for SME’s, government and education establishments across Europe, Africa and North America, as well as the UK.
